Durban – As South African’s took the day off work on Wednesday to place their ‘X’ in the voting booths across the country, Voter in at a Durban voting station were left with what can only be described as being more than they bargained for.
Voters at a poling station in Durban were left shocked and puzzled when a woman showed up to the voting station in her birthday suit.
Security personnel rushed to the woman’s side to cover her up in large manila boards, which can only be assumed to have been from left over IEC marketing inventory.
She was then reluctantly carried away screaming profanity over what she labelled ‘poor service delivery’ from the ANC led local authorities in her area.
The incident, which happened so quickly, left many on-lookers wondering if what they had seen has actually taken place.
“One minute we are standing in the queue and the next…there is this woman running up to the polling booths butt nak*d”, said one witness who identified herself as Yolanda Gumede.
Various events of a similar nature have been reported to have taken place in other voting stations through out the country, as women of various locales view nudity as the best attention seeking gimmick to aid their quest to be heard.
