A MAN and his girlfriend were having sex on Wednesday when they suddenly got an unexpected visitor.
An armed man in his 20s walked in and told them to ignore him. He said they should continue what they were doing.
It happened at Phomolong section in Tembisa, Ekurhuleni.
This was after the armed man allegedly robbed a spaza shop and went to hide from residents in the couple’s bedroom.
Tshepo Madumo (28), who was part of a crowd that chased the thug, told Daily Sun: “I saw two people enter the shop wearing caps in the morning.
“They shot at the owner and took money from him.
“Residents came out of their houses and chased the robbers.
“One of the men got away but we managed to corner the guy with the gun.”
Tshepo said after the man ran into the couple’s house, they heard a woman screaming. When the residents entered the house they found the thug hiding under a blanket.
“When we got into the room we found a man and a woman naked.
“We asked them to dress and then they pointed to the man under the blanket,” Tshepo said.
The suspect was dragged out of the house and got the beating of his life, until the cops rescued him.
He was taken to Tembisa Hospital with head injuries.
Luckily, all four bullets fired at the shop owner missed him and he was not hurt.
The police said a case of business robbery was opened at Rabie Ridge Police Station and cops were investigating.
The police have asked residents with information about the man who fled from the scene to come forward.
