“I WILL never forgive my son for killing my husband.”
Maureen Madikologe said she has made peace with the fact that disabled Abram (35) is no longer entitled to motherly love.
“The only time he will ever come into my house again is in a coffin,” she said.
He allegedly stabbed his blind father, Bethuel Madikologe (78), to death over a cigarette four weeks ago. The story was published in Daily Sun on 21 July.
The 61-year-old grieving widow from Sekampaneng, north of Pretoria said her son went crazy whenever he didn’t have cigarettes.
“He start fighting with everyone in the house and threatened to kill us.
“I have been humiliated by him since he was a teenager. He stole from the neighbours and was often beaten up. He was in and out of prison. Each time his father punished him, he would threaten to kill him.
“I am pleading with the authorities not to release him.
