THE young thug thought he could make a fast getaway on foot, but he was wrong.
He tried to steal a bicycle, but the street vendors raised the alarm and he was caught by the owner.

A street vendor (39) said he saw the young man and suspected he was going to steal something.
“Every day I come here to sell but it was the first time I had seen this young man.
“I became suspicious after I saw him walking around.
“I even told other vendors he had come to steal something,” he told Daily Sun.
Then they saw him trying to steal a bicycle belonging to one of their regular customers.
“We shouted that there was a thug and the bicycle owner came running.
“The suspect fled but he was caught by the owner and other people.
“Cops came and stopped them from beating the young man.
“They took the thug with them.”
The vendor said young robbers always come to the beach during the holidays to try their luck, but almost always get caught. When the SunTeam tried to speak to the bicycle owner, he refused to comment.
