A Pretoria woman has spectacularly come forward claiming to be carryng the pregnancy of the late race car driver, Gugu Zulu.
The woman, who can not be named for legal reasons, is said to have initially confided in a friend about the two and a half year affair which resulted in her conceiving the famous drivers child.
It is further understood that the friend then sold the story to a prominent online news outlet, promising to ensure that the concerned party would come forward and verify the allegations.
She is quoted as saying “This story will rock Gugu’s image that is being portrayed in the media as if he was Jesus“.
The Daily Times, efforts to establish the official opinion of those within Gugu’s camp were responded to by a close family member who claimed that the allegations placed against the late race car driver were false and would be resisted with the assistance of legal action.
The remarks are those of a vengeful person with the intention of staining the image of one of South African‘s most decorated and loved sportsman”, the email read. “We will go forward and inform our lawyers to sue those peddling these malicious accusations.”
Gugu Zulu’s memorial service was scheduled for the 26th of July, as the family, friends and the sports fraternity pay their last respects to a man who was considered to be a moral and ethical leader in many spheres of his life.
The race car driver, who died while climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, is survived by his wife Letshego and their one-year-old daughter, Lelethu.
